My Pen Pals

I can’t imagine that I have many pen pals from around the world. I’m enjoying the moment, when we share our story. It doesn’t matter the story is important or not. There’s no barrier between us.

We have difference time, 2, 5, 12, and 15 hours. We’re busy with our business and tired too. But, there’s a moment when we remember our best friend, because the value of friendship is priceless.

The first meeting was friend from Europe, Serbia. He lives at village, Leskovac.

I met Master Cam from Arizona, US. He had bachelor degree in Fine Art and Graphic Design at Washburn University. I forced him to be my unofficial private art teacher lol!

After that, I met Pokemon girl from Pennsylvania, US.

Then, someone who love history and care about his hometown in Tamil Nadu, India. He told me about Madurai and their temple.

Also, the smart and beautiful girl from Ukraine. She loves to watch anime like me!

I have learned many things from them. They make me to be brave, more confident, care our parents, live healthy, be productive, love and care each other.

So, my friend from Serbia is not good in English, me too. Because of that we use simple words that we can understand lol! Our grammar is very very bad! I was shock when I heard his story about muslim in Serbia. He said that muslim in Serbia drink beer and go to the club. I was sad, but the positive thing is there are some muslim in Serbia. I hope they don’t drink beer again, or maybe eat pork/ham/bacon and the others haram food!

Master Cam told me that Facebook is social distraction and wasting time too. Wasting time is sign of constant boredom. He’s an atheist. But, he’s the smartest pen pals that I ever had. We have a great discussion about our faith. Because English is his native language, he used some complex sentences lol! I actually didn’t understand but sometimes I pretend to understand him.  Of course, if your English is good that’s not complex sentences! I respect and appreciate him not just as my best friend, but as brother and teacher.

This Pokemon girl has friend from Indonesia before me, she was an exchange student. It’s difficult to make a good conversation with Pokemon girl. I couldn’t talk with her like I talk to Master Cam and the beautiful girl from Ukraine. She replied me with simple words, such as “Yup”, “I see”, “Nice”. So, I confused to think what the good topic which interest her.

This guy is from India and study about computer science. He’s very busy with his project. Someday he needs my help to explain about Neutrino Observatory. Well, I said that my teacher in college didn’t teach me Lol! But I didn’t give up because I remember the documentary film about that. There’s one Neutrino Observatory in Japan too. And the scientist wants to build in Tamil Nadu because that place is very potential. But people in Tamil Nadu afraid that observatory can damage their hometown.

I thought as a chemical analyst we should learn more about subatomic, beside proton, neutron and electron. Because that’s new science that we haven’t knew yet. If someone ask about quark or neutrino, I’m just keep silent and can’t say anything. I know, we’re not using it in our daily job. But that’s one of basic knowledge. We should follow the development of science.

The beautiful girl from Ukraine is studying at Sumy State University, the fourth best university in Ukraine. She likes to watch anime, such as SAO, and Kaichou wa Maid sama. So, I suggested her to watch Death Parade. And she told me that she cried when watch it. On this week, something bad happen to my partner laboratory. I was afraid, but this girl courage me. After that, I was more relax and tried to enjoy the moment.

I know, I shouldn’t write about my pen pals in my blog, because they have privacy. But, I can’t hide my feeling. I’m so happy to meet them. I’m lucky and grateful.
